Camps, Clinics, and Private Horsemanship Instruction
Our Horsemanship Campsare a great way to pamper yourself with 2-5 full days of saturation with your horse. You will bond with your horse and make significant positive changes. Or if you don't have a horse or live far away you can come and ride one of ours. We have camps for everyone:
Clinics are a shorter version of the intense training we provide at our camps. But for those who can't get away for 4 days they are an excellent value. You will learn more than you expect, and go away with new savvy tools to have more fun and success with your horse. We also do one day classroom or demonstration/observation 1 day workshops (including Equine Psychology, and Yoga Exercises for Riders)

Private Lessons are best for those who will commit to an ongoing basis with us.
We understand private lessons are sometimes desired, so we do offer them to dedicated students willing to take them on a regular basis. However, I recommend a clinic or camp over the lessons at least once a year, because a 2 hour private lesson will go by so quickly.
There is no way you will get the solid foundation from one private lesson which you will get at a clinic or camp. I prefer to give private lessons after someone has already attended a couple of clinics. The value you get for your money with a clinic or camp is much greater than a 2 hour private lesson, unless you will commit to the lessons on a regular basis.
You will also learn from the other people at a clinic or camp which is invaluable. We will have a chance to cover so much more about principles and natural horsemanship philosophy. etc. etc. etc. There is no way I can cover all of this in a 2 hour lesson.
Apprentice Program (for those serious about learning)
Apprenticeon our Ranch in central NE where you can learn about natural horse training, and even how to become a horsemanship instructor.
Erica has come three years in a row. I have had a very successful time with her. Erica lived and breathed with me for a month each session. She received private lessons and attended all my clinics and camps as part of her learning. This is a very valuable package which is not given away; however it is greatly discounted from what you would pay for each of these learning opportunities separately.
The first year Erica brought a horse and also had access to work with ten other horses. The second year she brought two young horses for us to start. During these first two years she paid me for the lessons learned. The next year she helped me start 9 young horses and I began to pay her when I did not have to instruct her as much. She has developed into a very savvy horsewoman and thus she has earned monetary compensation for her help. When she could help me more than I was having to teach her, then she became an asset to me and she was rewarded appropriately.
**This is not a paid position. It must be earned by studying with me over time. Then you will receive your reward. You can stay in our nice bunkhouse.

Many of Sherry's dedicated students have formed study groups to keep them motivated and accountable to continue the journey towards excellence in horsemanship. We watch videos in bad weather, have play days, and even friendly competitions.
